Consortium for Professional Security Officer Standards and Training
Professional Security Officer Standards and Training (PSOST) has partnered with Goldstar Training to create a Professional Security Officer (PSO) Certification program that can be accessed remotely. We’ve created a series of certified learning Modules (LMs) that will improve your vocational and professional relevance and expertise and help you realize greater opportunities within your organization, or improve your vocational prospects with other organizations.
There are four levels of PSO certification:
These four certifications programs are progressive and require the successful completion of each one before moving on to the next certification program.
Our Virtual Learning Platform is a self-paced learning program that can be started and paused and re-started at your convenience. Each learning module contains a power point presentation, audio and video files and PDF documents.
We have worked hard to present quality instruction at an affordable price. The cost per course is about $ 10.00 an hour. We offer one free course each month to give you a glimpse of the quality of instruction you’ll receive.
Our Learning Modules are based on my 30 plus years of experience working in the security field, my various articles and books I’ve written, and my experience as a college professor.
